Biography: Shaykh Bilal Ali Ansari was born, raised, and educated in Chicago, IL. After completing his high school education in 1998, he studied two years of computer engineering at the University of Illinois in Urbana, IL. Later, his desire for Islamic knowledge drove him to the Indian subcontinent, where he decided to pursue a higher education in Islamic studies. Currently, Shaykh Bilal Ali Ansari is teaching the darse nizami shariah course full-time at the Institute of Islamic Education in Elgin IL. He is the Director of Education for Darul Hikmah and the serves as principal of the Darul Hikmah Academy.
